Done using Photoshop CS and Macromedia Captivate. Now please be aware that this is just a part of a CD that I am currently creating. The final version on the CD is a full screen size and the images and text are a nicer. This is mainly a test of the first CD lesson.
Please just don't DL the thing. Tell me about it. What it needs or doesn't need. I seriously posted it as a test, not something for people just to download and not tell me about.
I used Cheerleader Amira because she is a simple image to show in the various stages from prep and to color.
Excellent, this has alot of useful information, and works well. It's clear, consice, and looks good. I was a little bit put off at the simplicity of how the instructions where put out (okay, made me feel stupid) but other than that, it gets the job done.

That Was Truly Fantastic!!! And To Think, It's Just A Preliminary Preview! Your Works Are Always Phenominal, And Now You Privi Us To A Little Of The Physical Aspects To Your Magnificent Works!!! Thank You!!! I Was So Captivated By The Tutorial I Didn't Test The Controls, The Text Runs Just A Little Fast; Maybe A Variable Text Speed Control Or Option. But Then Again, I Could Just Be Very Slow! But So Far It Rocks!!! Rock On!!!
Wow, this was quite useful to me, also, more tutorials should be made this way , the only bad thing was that the click-sound was just a little too loud... but that might just be me ^_^

I made it a bit simple because it is a movie tutorial, so I can't get too complicated in the text. Also, I'm one of those kind of people who can't stand long-winded explainations. It was one of the things I hated about the tutorials and books we got from school when I was getting my degree.
On the CD will be pages people can print out and put in a binder. I may add more text on the printable pages. But since it's a movie and each slide is only a few seconds long, I really had to keep the text very simple. More advanced users will be a bit bothered by the text and I anticipated that, but I'm working in a completely different format than most tutorials on DevArt. And a vast majority of people who have requestd a tutorial from me are fairly new to photoshop, inking, coloring, etc.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
